Are you looking for one of the best finder scopes on the market? Then take a look at all the features the Stellarvue F50M2 Deluxe 9X50 Finder Scope has to offer. Let's begin with a generous 50 mm (1.97-inches) aperture consisting of a fully multi-coated doublet object.
At the other end is an image correct 90-degree erecting prism backed up by a 1.25-inch helical focuser with rubber grip, and a high quality fully coated eyepiece with large eye lens and cross-hair reticle. Both the eyepiece and the reticle may be focused and other conventional 1.25-inch eyepieces may be used.
The finder will accommodate various standard 1.25-inch eyepieces. Most Naglers, Panoptics, Plossls and Kellners will come to focus. Certain eyepieces that are not parfocal with standard designs may not come to focus but this is the exception, not the rule.
Unlike many finders that use inexpensive slide tube focusers or require screwing and unscrewing the objective to reach focus, the Stellarvue can be focused to accommodate different people thanks to its helical focuser. Merely turn the rubber grip to attain focus.
The eyepiece supplied with the Stellarvue F50M2 Deluxe 9X50 Finder Scope is a high quality, fully multi-coated, 23 mm wide field eyepiece with 22 mm of eye relief and a large eye lens. This eyepiece features a fine-focusing cross hair reticle, and includes the Rigel PulseGuide Illuminator (a $49.95 value)!
In addition, several mounting ring systems are now available for the F50 finders. This allows many different brand telescopes to accommodate the Stellarvue F50M2 Deluxe 9X50 Finder Scope using standard dovetails. Our mounting rings use a dovetail rail with a safety stop. This rail slides into a dovetail base or a stalk for many different mounting combinations.

Important! When installing mounting rings DO NOT unscrew the dew shield. The objective may fall out. Always unscrew the rear assembly (adapter, prism, focuser, eyepiece) from the main tube to install the rings.
