This is a loaded Celestron 130 SLT in very good shape.  The previous owner bought this and then basically never used it.  The primary mirror has a tiny amount of dust on it that will not affect your views.  Otherwise, the scope is practically in new condition, with a clean body, working handset and motors, and all the accessories you'll want to start out with.  In addition to the stock items listed in the copy below, this scope includes:

The Celestron AstroMaster Eyepiece & Accessory Kit (#94307), an $84.95 value:
  • 15 mm Kellner Eyepiece - 1.25”
  • 6 mm Plossl Eyepiece - 1.25”
  • 2X Barlow Lens with T-threads - 1.25”
  • #80A Blue Filter - 1.25”
  • #25 Red Filter - 1.25”
  • Moon Filter - 1.25”
  • Microfiber Cleaning Cloth

It also includes:

  • NexYZ Smartphone Adapter (# 81055), a $74.95 value;
  • 2-amp AC adapter (# 18778), a $39.95 value; and,
  • an SvBONY laser collimator, a $24.95 value.

This is a total of $865 worth of equipment for just $500; quite a savings off of the new model!  It even has brand-new AA batteries already installed.

We do not have the packing boxes for this, so it is available for in-store pickup only.

With preassembled, adjustable stainless steel tripods and quick release fork arms and tubes, NexStar SLT telescopes can be set up in a matter of minutes – with no tools required! You can see details of the lunar surface, Venus and its phases, polar caps on Mars, Jupiter and its four moons, Saturn with its rings plainly visible and much more! Most NexStar SLTs can also be used as a land-based spotting telescope.

Intelligent Design
Powered by 8 AA (user supplied) batteries or an optional AC adapter (#18778), these NexStar GoTos love to travel. The internal battery compartment provides power to the high precision servo motors for rigid low-vibration performance while eliminating cord wrap issues associated with external battery packs.

With the NexStar’s ergonomically designed hand control, the user is free to remove the hand control from its holder for remote use or leave it cradled for hands-free operation. With a touch of a button, you can select the object catalog, change the slew speed, view fascinating information about an object or simply know if a desired object is visible in the sky.

Celestron’s Revolutionary SkyAlign
Using Celestron’s patented SkyAlign, simply input the date, time and location into the hand control then slew the telescope to any three bright celestial objects in the sky. You do not need to know the names of the stars – you can even pick the Moon or bright planets!
