Used SkyWatcher 10" Classic 250P Dobsonian

This is a 10" dob in very good shape.  The optics are clean, with only a minimal amount of dust on the primary mirror, which will not affect your views.  The body is in excellent shape, with a couple of small nicks on the tube (see the photos). 

However, the dob does squeak loudly when moved in azimuth (left and right).  It still moves smoothly without sticking, but the tension on the bolt probably needs to be adjusted.  We have taken this minor condition issue into consideration in terms of the pricing.  

This is the stock model, with the standard 25mm Plossl and 2" to 1.25" adapter in the focus tube.  On the other hand, the previous owner upgraded the finder to a 9x50 RACI finder.  

This dob mount has already been built by its previous owner, and we don't have the shipping boxes for it, so this is for in-store pickup only. At almost half-off, this one won't last!  There are no returns on this item.

Description

The Sky-Watcher Traditional Dobsonian Telescope 254mm/1200mm (10″) has a “paraboloidal” primary mirror to eliminate spherical aberration and a four-arm, secondary- mirror bracket with fine supports (0.5mm thick), to reduce diffraction spikes and light loss. In addition, this model include a 2″ focuser with a 1.25″ adapter, allowing the use of either eyepiece size. This model also include the new feature-tension control handle.
