This 2" Twist Lock SCT Dielectric Mirror Diagonal from Apertura is a diagonal that will make you glad you added to your SCT setup!
The body of the 2" diagonal, which is carbon fiber plated, comes complete with a 2" to 1.25" adapter which has a non-marring brass compression ring to hold your 1.25" eyepieces firmly in place. The adapter is threaded for 2" filters. The nose piece of the diagonal has an SCT thread so you can easily attach the diagonal to your SCT scope. The approximate optical path length is 134mm.
Apertura has designed this diagonal with a twist lock mechanism and set screws, that can be utilized when the adapter is not in place, to firmly hold your 2" eyepiece.
The dielectric coatings on the 1/12th wave BK7 mirror have 99% reflectivity across the visible spectrum.
