This easy-to-use accessory connects your compatible Celestron computerized telescope to your smartphone, tablet, or PC. You get full wireless control through the free SkyPortal Powered by SkySafari™ app for iOS and Android or the CPWI software for Windows PC.

  Once connected, you can align your telescope, navigate the night sky, and automatically slew to thousands of celestial objects with a tap. The SkyPortal app’s interactive planetarium interface makes exploring the universe intuitive for beginners while offering advanced functionality that experienced observers will appreciate.

  The SkyPortal WiFi Module offers two flexible ways to connect your mobile device to your telescope. Use Direct Connect Mode to connect directly to the module in the field without needing an external WiFi network, or use Access Point Mode to connect through your home network while maintaining internet access on your smartphone or tablet. Both modes now support 2.4GHz and 5GHz operation for improved wireless performance and reduced interference in a wider range of observing environments.
